What a crazy day on the trail at the Greenway Marathon/50k! We had just about every trail condition imaginable! Paul took a bunch of pics and selected photos are here. Enjoy! Results are on the MCRRC site.
It was definitely an interesting day yesterday out on the Greenway Trail. We definitely had our fair shair of mudd/ice/slush/snow. But it was great to see everyone out there running and finishing with some awesome times. Congrats to everyone. And I look foward to the next race with everybody. Rock on and keep those feet moving.
My favorite was the puddles of muddy water/ice daggers of uncertain depth. Especially when you seemed to be on firm footing, but plunged through the ice, scraping up your legs.
Lessons learned: never trust the trail! Bring Yaxtrax! And Margarita clif bloks don't give me the same emotional boost as wild cherry with caffeine.
