Yesterday Rupa, Lori, Mical, Amanda and I ran the Capon Valley 50k. I believe it was the 6th year running this race for Amanda and me and the first year for the rest of our crew. We had a fabulous weather day and the driest Capon of my recollection. It was great fun reconnecting with ultra friends I haven't seen in awhile as well as the MCRRC'ers at the race. And as usual, the RD and volunteers at Capon Valley were awesome! All aid stations were well stocked and had really helpful volunteers there to cater to your every need. And the chicken dinner was great! Perfect post-race fueling, although I have to say the blueberry pie was my favorite. Thanks to all of my running buddies for getting me through what proved to be a challenging day for me!! Here are a few pictures from our day.

Yup, CV50 is a great race. Thanks, Michelle, for introducing me to ultrarunning through it. Always nice to see you and the gang out there and at other races.
