Results are up. Amanda is a trail monster, top 10 female and 40th overall (8:47). Let no-one doubt her trail prowess! Mark Radan (our friend from the gym) made his Highland Sky debut in 30th place. Mark McKennett, also a Highland Sky first, stormed in with an awesome sub-10hour race (9:53). Lorrin brought it home 10 min. faster than last year at 10:36. Michelle suffered through the heat and high humidity in the morning, and knew it wasn't her day, but gutted it out through aid station 4 (the start of the dreaded road). As Dan Todd put it, 'No sense doing the road if you're not sure you'll finish.'
What a day: fog, humidity, heat, bright sunshine, thunderstorms, driving rain, lightning, mud, lots of mud, more thunderstorms! As promised, it was wild and wrocky, but the most beautiful course we've run! And, of course, thanks to the awesome volunteers Bill, Joe and Megan! And to Dan Lehmann for putting on the race - good luck at Western States!
